The movie was played by Don Cheadle and Adam Sandler.

Don Cheadle is a successful dentist in New York City. Someday he bumped into his college roommate, Adam Sandler. He lost all his family from 9/11 and was suffering from post-9/11 traumatism.

Don Cheadle, one of my favor actor, still performs well as usual. However, there is no depth of the plot. New York Times said ”this director’s approach to the 9/11 theme starts to feel crude and exploitative” I don’t want to distort what “exploitative” means but which is crude I agreed with. Also Liv Tyler who played a therapist is a boring character.

Travis, The Boy With No Name

When I first listened to Travis’s The Man Who back to 1999, I was thinking ”Oh, another traditional British rock band.”

In the post-Oasis era, surrounding by a superband, U2, and a god-like band, Radiohead, it seemed nothing about British rock can arise my excitement. Although The Man Who enjoyed sales success, Travis’s ready-to-take-off was offset by Coldplay’s Parachutes.

The Boy With No Name was released in 2007. As AMG said, they are still ordinary and they are not trying to achieve anything. But that’s why I like this easy-listening, comfortable album.

Friends

I had a long long vacation in Taiwan in Oct. 2007.

I went back to Taiwan in the early Oct. My original plan was to stay in Taiwan for 2 weeks; however, due to my VISA problem, my return was postponed for another 3 weeks. So I enjoyed a whole month vacation with my family and friends.

The picture was taken the night before I left Taiwan. They were my co-workers back to 2001 and we still keep good friendship. Everyone has their own story going on and what they struggle about. I hope all my friends doing well.

I like the light in this shoot.

In the city, you can see people are dragging hand trucks, carts for catering or delivering. They even take subway with these equipment and merchandise.
