sample sale
You hardly see someone passes out Sample Sale flyer at SOHO.
That day, at Spring St. and Broadway, this guy attracted many attentions. He really took his job seriously. He yelled loud and chatted with passerby.
I took some pictures of him and this one showed he was looking at me. I didn't notice that until I came home and saw those pictures.

music
在Washington Square總是會有很多人拿著樂器在演奏. 但是他們並不是在做街頭表演, 只是很即興的彈奏自己的音樂.
不同的樂手來來去去, 你可以隨時加入, 也可以隨時離開. 所以會看到很多不同樂器還有風格的組合.
也許他們並不是什麼大師, 或者是我也不認識, 但是這種自由的享受音樂, 真的是喜歡音樂的人所追求的吧.

something about Rhomer
In an interview, Rhomer explained why he doesn't like use music in his movies.
He thinks that music can influence our emotions and change our feelings.
I believe him. What I usually do, actually, when I watch a movie, is to try to image how I will like this movie if there is no music. And the result is very interesting. I find out a lot of blockbuster movies are actually boring and empty.
First time I knew this trick was when I watched "Titanic". Did it deserve to be one of the best films, if it was without music? I doubt.
